About the kit

Will they manage it alone, or do I need to help?

The kit is rated 6+. The building steps are pictures — a printed manual in the box, plus 2D and 3D instructions in the app — and there is no coding: the motor has its logic built in. Most six-year-olds get going with an adult nearby for the first few models, then carry on by themselves.

How long will it hold their attention?

There are 72+ models — musicians, farm machines, vehicles. Only one model can be built at a time: the parts are shared, so each one is built, played with and then taken apart for the next — and the box keeps coming back out.

What do they actually learn, and in what order?

Mechanics first: gears, levers and cranks, and how a motor drives a model. Then logic: the intelligent motor has built-in modes and reacts to the infrared and light sensors, so children see cause and effect — if the sensor sees something, the model does something — without writing a program.

Do we need a tablet?

Not to play: the models are driven by the intelligent motor and its sensors, not by a phone. For building, the printed manual in the box covers the first models, and the step-by-step 2D and 3D instructions for the rest are in the free Makerzoid app (iOS, Android, Windows).

What if a part breaks or goes missing?

Every kit has a 24-month warranty. The motor hub and the sensors are sold separately as spares, and the bricks fit classic LEGO® — so a missing brick is rarely a problem.

Does it work with the bricks we already have?

Yes — the 6+ range fits classic LEGO® bricks, and the motor and sensors can drive models built from an existing collection. The 3+ large-block range is a separate system and doesn't connect to this kit.

Can I return it if it's not right?

Yes — you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. You can open the box and check the kit. The parts inside are packed in separate transparent bags — please keep them sealed: you can see every part through the bag.

Is it safe for a 6-year-old?

The kit is CE marked for ages 6 and up. It contains small parts, so it's not for children under 3. Batteries are not included and sit in a closed compartment — worth knowing if there are younger siblings in the house.
